Yeah dude, its a really nice car. Dont be tempted to break it up for parts or anything.

At the end of the day 16k is a large sum of money, the car is worth a huge amount more and I respect that but you are looking at a specialist buyer for yours. Especially considering most (tatty) R33s and 32s sell for under 10k nowadays.

I'll make you a deal, if I win the lottery this week I'll have it off you :)

P.S. I am not calling Bens tatty before he pipes up !!!

No wont ever break it up Gareth.

I have had a lot of people call and say that they like the car but think that its overpriced, if they just came and had a good look around the car at the condition, history and ownership of they car they would see why it is in the slightly higher range.

The tatty Skylines are killing the market for the nice ones but i suppose its the old saying of 'you get what you pay for' which comes to mind.

You probably need to go to some of the shows also like the Santa Pod one and the Time Attack to get the car out there to the masses.

Not wishing to be pedantic Ben, but it took more like two years to sell yours. I am sure you had interest in it back in 09 but these cars are nightmares to sell for 'top' money

Your car is so specialised Ian, it's bound to take a long time to flog. Compared to other GTR's of this price range, it's not powerful and not had the engine or gearbox work that a lot of 16k cars have had done (i.e forged UK or RIPS built engines etc) No matter how great it looks or how wonderful it is as an overall thing to own, it is essentially a very specialised car that would appeal to a smaller element of an already small market.

Truthfully I think your best bet is to approach someone like Newera or JM Imports and see if they will value your car with a view to selling it for you at a commission. Think of their customer demographics and their reputation; surely they are better at selling top end cars than any of us?

Best of luck and no offence intended

True, I meant from putting it up this time online ... previously I had a chap from Jersey who wanted it but I pulled out of selling it ... even you have to admit my heart wasn't really in selling it the previous times. It was only this time I had come to the conclusion that it's was an expensive garden ornament.

Didnt realise the importers would sell your car like that so i will be contacting them, good idea. Thanks for the input Stu.

Ben i have had a guy from jersey speak to me about my car, i wonder if its the same guy, did he own a R35 and Lambo etc?

I do understand that my car is in the high price range and not had the engine work done but some of the high BHP ones are far from clean underneath etc, like you said it is a very specialised one.

Just wish would get some genuine views so people can see why i am demanding a higher price.

Importers will not sell a car on someones behalf so nice idea but they would not do it.

Still for sale then.

That's odd as Newera always have cars's they have previously sold on their site !! i.e. advertised on behalf of their customers - and your's I believe was brought in by them.
