The car looks ok and seems to have some nice mods. If it is built by a chap at powerstation then it should be pretty good as they really know their stuff and they do all the tuning for the Litcho T25.

What gets me is the sellers attitude. He doesn't exactly have hudreds of people clammering to buy it yet he is calling all the shots, like it or lump it.
His conditions also sound a bit OTT....You won't get to drive it till you've bought it, bo11ox to that. If i'm about to spend
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!! :rant:

Without uprated engine internals it's no good, either the output isnt true (though his fuelling and turbo would be capable of delivering that) or it is about to implode, a stock EJ20 won't survive 450hp for long at all.

Just spotted the Link ECU. That might be bad. 6 row is not too clever. G3 is pretty good.

Yeh, its a 7-8k car I reckon, and as you say, the Link is proper basic! I looked into the G3 which sounded good but no-one was keen to sell me one :roll:

Bob Rawle or Simon JGM will do them. Link not hugely popular over here, they are used widely in NZ where Link based (Christchurch). The G3 pretty good IMHO, the 6 row wasn't bad for its time but its resolution very poor by modern standards.

Yes, spoke to JGM about ti, but it was when they first came out earlier in the year, and Simon couldn't get hold of one!

BRD, spoke to them, but due to speaking to his partner, and the long wait to get it done I didn't bother, and found a 2nd Gems at a reasonable price and thought Steve Simpson was helpful and knowledgable, and the fact he maps most Group N Scooby rally cars can't be a bad thing :!:

Branko can be curt. My only fear for you with the GEMS is the long drive to get the map tweaked. Steve Simpson is good, nothing wrong with the mapper, just the distance!

I am not too bothered about the dricve up there, gives me an excuse to take a day off! Plus, not going to be changing bits all the time, 1 map a year :wink:
