Fiesta probably more fun but the Audi has a lot more torque, better mpg, same insurance group and lower tax.

If you ment me Rob? Close, mines an A6 2.7 avant.:)

Realy realy sorry to hear your news Tony.:( Infact gutted for you that the lovely evo`s gone let alone everything else.
I can recommend a V6 2.7 or 3.0 tdi audi. Mines done 134k and runs a dream. they are chain driven so no expensive cambelt services and as they are old tech there is no Diesel Particulate Filters to worry about. On average i get around 38-40mpg but on a good run i can get around 45ish. That said a heavy foot will see the mpg drop to the low 30`s. Oh and unless you are prepared for big road tax avoid 3.0`s after march `06.

Cheers Russ. I really don't know what I want at the minute. Once the Evo goes tomorrow I'm pretty much buggered for looking for anything very far from me.

Yep, I'm with Fletch on that one .. you could get say a MK4 Golf diesel for around the 1 and a half grand mark - as long as it has full SH, then it will be a goer, we've got a 67,000 miler Mk4 2.0 which does 35-38mpg and we've got a 118,000 miler MK4 1.9TD which does about 60Mpg. The diesel stills feels as tight as the 67,000 miler - the only signs of wear are the interior trims and the gear change is slighty looser.

That 206, will sink in value like a kitten in a sack attached to an anvil.

I know your all right but I couldn't help myself and bought the Pug. I just couldn't get my head around buying and driving a shitter. If the house and everything has to go at least I'll be left with a half decent car. I'll probably regret it but my head is so screwed up at the minute.
