being serious for a second, I will qualify my statement, I was basing performance against his current Evo .. a standard GTR will seem quite pedestrain compared to a modified Evo .. I should probably have been more clear.

When I bought the 32 is was as near standard as it could be, the BHP was recorded at 266 !! ... once modified running 1 bar was quick .. but 1.1 made such a difference, considering they are 0.6 standard!.

Cheers guys for the advice at the moment its just an idea ive loved the short time with the M3 its been an awesome time but i plan on scratching a few car itches in a short period of time but they must be low miles, mint and very easy to sell on without much of a financial hit! Been offed loads of swops from focus ST's to Skylines. Big BHP isnt what iam looking for its the experience ive got fiesta RST http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1991-FORD-FIESTA- ... 4aabd0d969 -TVR's http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2001-TVR-CERBERA- ... 415a6a7027 on the list!

The fiesta RST is a cracking car BUT it's spends an awful lot of time wheelspinning and doing ditch finder general impressions .. I've only driven one for a short period of time but it did seem hideously over powered for a front wheel drive car.

What about http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2001-TVR-TUSCAN-T ... 25641b4afc

I know this is all down to personal opinion but i personally would rather have a solid car with not a trace of rust than a car with a big BHP engine but the overall condition is not there. Either want a everyday Skyline or a track ready one i suppose.

Have i missed something here Lee or have you sold your nice Evo?

Well i think Ian's car is stunning and worth every penny considering the condition and the amount he has spent on it. It is a fairly modest state of tune compared to some, but is reliable. I am sure it is not slow though. People who get caught up yearning for 500hp+ with these usually regret it due to the massive quantam leap required financially and materially. Ian's is a mint and a lovely fast road/show car. Too nice to take near a track in my opinion.

He has shown his car on my trade stand a couple of times and it is a huge crowd puller

Trouble is it is so hard to sell anything for decent money at the moment. There are so many bargains to be had as lots of people are selling up due to running costs etc.

Most people would rather buy a cheaper one thinking they have a bargain, to only have to spend a couple of grand soon after probably.
