Hi Tony,

It's both keyboards. The wireless k/b & mouse are Dell, the same as the computer and were seen straight away, not needing drivers. I did an installation from the disc, but that didn't help.

Must be something stupid that I've overlooked.

ok, check these:

Go to control panel > Regional/Langauge settings > Regional Options
Standards and formats = English (United Kingdom)
Location = United Kingdom

control panel > Regional/Langauge settings > Languages > 'Details' > Settings
Default Input Language = English (United Kingdom) - United Kingdom
Installed Services, Keyboard = United Kingdom

control panel > Regional/Langauge settings > Advanced
Language for non-Unicode programs = English (United Kingdom)
