I am delighted to announce that we have a new home for our meets. I didn't want to say anything until everything was conifrmed and 'in the bag' but after weeks of waiting, loads of phone calls and the odd meeting.................

From Oct 11th and every second Wednesday of the month, BigPower meets will be held at



We have negotiated a three month trial period of holding our monthly meets at this prestigious venue, with the circuit manager, Jamie Hopper, agreeing to specifically open the Tyrells restaurant and bar for us!
The benefits of holding our meets at the Snetterton race circuit this will bring to us all, are as follows;

- A private and secure venue away from the public, chavs and unfriendly farmers/security staff and the Police.
- Dedicated staff on site to make sure we get great service on food and drink
- Audio/ Video facilities so that I can bore you with my DVD's showing me going around the 'Ring
- Enclosed undercover parking areas if anyone wants a unique venue for photoshoots
- A genuine base to build and plan events for the future.

The restaurant serves hot and cold food, although it's fair to say that we may only get offered a reduced menu but that's subject to the number of people that eat there. The bar will be there to serve everything from teas, coffees, soft drinks and alcohol to non-drivers. I must admit the prospects of having such a facility to use for our meets is better than I could have hoped for. Add the fact that Tyrells is based at the home of Motorsport in East Anglia..... :-D Chuffed.

Now the juicy bit..........

How do you fancy taking this on a stage further? Further discussions have included;

- Dedicated events, exclusive track use for us.
- About drift pratice
- Quarter mile runs
- Driver training
- Skid pan use 8)

We have also briefly discussed VIP days for members and improved ticket pricing.

We are the only 'site/club' to have the benefit of these facilities in East Anglia so lets take advantage of it. I know people are busy, but I'd love to see a massive turn out for this meet. It's important that we start off correctly for a number of reasons. I'll start a list of attendees below and if you would like to bring other cars/guests that are not users of the site, please clear it with me first. I have had to take full responsibility for all of your actions on site, which I'm happy to do, but I cannot vouch for your guests without prior knowledge. Excuse my protective nature. We have three months to prove we are the right 'club' for these facilities and when other clubs realise they've missed out, there will be a queue of people wanting to fill our collective shoes :P Add your name and lets make this the biggest meet yet!
