Woop!

I shall be there, just watched the first round on MotorsTV. New Fezza 458, Merc SLS AMG and all the usual stuff. Looks good.

Much bigger entry list than previous years, GT races should be superb. Especially with all the new viewing areas. Big grids all round. F3 - GT's - Caterhams - Volkswagen Racing Cup - Ginettas - Formula Fords.

We had a great day today at snetterton. I met up with an old friend there today and spent the whole day gas bagging so did nt get to take a single photo!:blush5: I can say the merc sls sounded supurb:drool5: and the enzo in the paddock drew quite a crowd (sounded nice on its way out too) If anybody else reading this went? could you tell me what happened to the porsche team mates that crashed out at the start of bently? did they run into each other?
My only complaint of the day... with all the money thats gone into the new track why have no patio heaters been put up on the veiwing banks? It was bloody freezing!!!:D

That SLS! What a noise.

The 1st Porker tried to dodge a spinning Aston and the second Porker hit the dodging first one. Shame about the ending to the rice the 458 looked all set to win and meat-balled with 3 laps to go for something that it had been carrying most of the race.

Great day i have a 1,000 or so photos to go through, decided to actually watch the races rather than take photos all day.

Will post some up shortly.

Pics!

First time I've been back to Snetterton since the track changes and boy is it different! The new loop is great and seemed to offer a real chance into Ascari, but on the other hand Murrays is a poor cousin of Russels, standing there you used to be assured of people making mistakes into the tricky chicane, Murrays caused very little incident all the time I was stood there. It will be interesting to see what the BTCC boys make of it.

Good pics there Maff,
You've captured the incident at the Esses that buggered up the race for the car I was setting up (G40 #34).
Would you mind if I sent those pics on to the driver?

Thanks Maff,

Any of Ginetta's #33 & 34 would be good!
