Hey everybody

It's been a while since I've been on so firstly I would like to say hi!

I'm not sure if you may have heard but I'm about to go for a distance world record as a single driver and I would like to extend to you an invitation to be part of it.

I have included below an overview of the event would welcome all of your support. The event is completely free of charge and would be great to combine as a group meeting.

Further information can be found at http://www.24hour.org.uk

If you have any questions at all please fire away! Hope to see you there.

Lloyd

After setting the European and British 24 Hour records in 2009, Lloyd is focused on breaking the current, South African-held World Record. Located at the Northamptonshire based Whilton Mill circuit, the clock will start at 10:00 on Thursday September 30th running straight through to 10:00 the following day.

World record attempt? :) Wow!!
Best of luck Lloyd. I won't be able to make it but it bet people like Datsun Des, Blacky, Suz and BlackskyGTR, Sdminus and a few others will be up for it (subject to time off and short notice)

Great cause too.

Yes, pushing for the big one this year. Super, I'll give Logan a bell and hopefully the others may be up for it.

Here is a peak of some of the preparations.

Thanks again

Lloyd

The Porsche looks the bollocks. How the Hell did you pull off a drive like this? I know you've got 'contacts' but that's amazing!

Fair play.

Well, for those that followed this, Lloyd did it!!
I pulled this from the website
"
Britain has a new World Record holder after Lloyd de Boltz-Miller set a new World Record for driving a kart solo for twenty four hours.
The 25-year old from Norwich broke South African Myk Prescott’s benchmark distance of 1,152.54km at 7:36am with three hours remaining on the clock. By 10:37am (1 October), a full twenty four hours after he started out, Lloyd had eclipsed Prescott’s 2008 achievement and established a new record distance of 1,289.12km (801.38 miles).
“I feel fine. Right as rain,” he said remarkably after his gruelling drive to raise money and awareness for the Wings for Life charity. “In the last stint I went hell for leather to make sure that the record stays with me for as long as possible.”

Well done Lloyd
