1st-3rd October Britcar 24hr

Post by Rob S »

Just nosing around as one does when a young son has insisted he get up at 7 to watch him play Lego Star Wars, and found this offer for the 24hr race at Silverstone this year.
Anyone fancy it?

I've emailed them requesting clarification, I'll update as soon as I hear anything.

Interesting to read some of the other classes, one includes loads of different cars running 2.0 Pinto's, might make some room in my boot for the way home.;)

From the ad
"In addition to the Britcar 500, on Friday and Saturday, we can expect entertainment from the Toyo Tyres Production BMW Championship, the Sports 2000 Pinto Championship (which is for a large range of vehilces with the 2000cc Ford Pinto engine in common), The Mazda MX5 Championship, PMC Midlands Porsche Club Trophy and the Henderson Formula Palmer Audi Championships as well.

On Sunday the timetable gets even bigger with races featuring the Sports 2000 Duratec series, The Caterham Superlights, The Mighty Mini Championship, the Dunlop Motorsport News Saloon Car Championship and last but by no means least, the BRSCC Alfashop Alfa Romeo ChallengeIn addition to the Britcar 500, on Friday and Saturday, we can expect entertainment from the Toyo Tyres Production BMW Championship, the Sports 2000 Pinto Championship (which is for a large range of vehilces with the 2000cc Ford Pinto engine in common), The Mazda MX5 Championship, PMC Midlands Porsche Club Trophy and the Henderson Formula Palmer Audi Championships as well.

As long as you've got enough room in the car for a tent, BBQ and some beer, nothing else matters :)

Ticket booked. Will phone relevant people when ticket arrives for how to get more.
