My engine management light came on today. Lost power but no misfires or other maladies. The throttle response is good enough but it doesn't feel like the turbo is spooling up at all............

Arse. The lad I bought it from has something called VAG.com, and he reckons it will show where the fault is. We shall see.............

Check for a boost leak, that's exactly what happened to the T5 and it was a tiny vacuum hose.

shit that's not good mate :/ hope you manage to get something sorted soon, will be gutted if you wont be able to run :(

I have a dyno printout showing 306 bhp which I used as the base line for the Sprint series but having it re-mapped and untested I will err on the conservative side but hope to be pleasantly surprised
The figures 260-270 are a more realistic and deliverable power output than those recorded previously I really look forward to seeing the torque figures

sounds like its gone into limp home mode mate...the vagcom should give you the diagnosis if not any scanner will
