TweenieRob was running around 1000 WHP !
AndyF was running on pure Methanol and very close to that power wise too 8)

Neil had a great day and was determined to break into the 8's but the conditions stopped that I reckon.

Because I was running normal 99 until I got there and ran E85 mix from after the first 2 runs but this had not been mapped for. I used a couple of low boost runs to check all was ok until I could feel safe to turn it up.

The weather changed very quickly because of the wind and one moment Terry Buckel was sitting in the car with me saying we had been lucky and missed the rain, then it lobbed it down.

Well done Duncan and everyone. I had my name down for the original November date but bottled out when it was shifted to today.

I was thinking what the 'knack' to it might be, as I'm sure there must be, as there is with the 1/4 mile drag.

Today's weather here has been very changeable, from a quiet sunny morning, it turned flippin' cold, blowing a gale and with heavy rain and hail.

Nice and warm indoors though :D

Well done!

Rob dyno'd it on friday on his brand new Dyno Dynamics rollers and it made 950 at the wheels at 1.7 bar i think. He ran 2.2 bar and promptly broke the rollers.

he was running the full 2.2 bar today afaik

I was struggling for grip, I was sitting at the holding area when he was launching and it was all over the place.. no grip at all for him. I think he did well to get the times he got.

Very impressive - there are some stunning performances there - I was up that way today on my way to holkham and couldn't believe the changes in whether .. sun, hail, rain, wind .... only needed snow to complete it !!
