Well the skyline is gone for good But how cool is my little replacement!!!!! 7lbs 12oz of pure joy....
Not much that can be added to that lot except that last year was a tough act to follow but today was at least its equal if not better.
Organisation was silky smooth, company was top notch, entertainment was entertaining and the food was excellent.
Thank you BP and MSV for another great day.
Gerry & Liz.

Well after a long day, finally home, going to get some rest me thinks!

From the opposite point of view to spectating which i can image was pretty impressive today, running the track side part of the event was really interesting, very stressful and was on the go solid from 6am right through till everyone went home so couldn't really take much of it in.
We all (especially me) usually take for granted all the work and effort that race clubs like BRSCC & BARC put into normal race meetings, organising time tables, marshals, medics, rescue crews, sorting out entrants details and so on to make a normal fantastic race meeting work.
As there wasn't an affiliated club with this event this year, MSV were running it under our permit along side the modified live organisers. Now this meant me taking on the roll of what the club do, all the on track saftey organisation etc, and it really wasn't an easy procedure as its a totally different kettle of fish but has been a real learning curve and will hopefully mean next years event will be even better.
I'm really pleased with the way the day turned out. From a circuit point of view the entrance tickets were up on last years by a record amount, the weather held off almost all day (sadly the only rain came at the end curtailing the final TA round) ,the standards of some of the car clubs were impressive and luckily there was only one incident on circuit causing minimal down time.
Thank you to all of you who came along, supported BP as a club and the circuit as your local venue, we do really appreciate it. Its a shame i didn't really have time to come up and chat to people, i only actually made it up once for about 3 mins before being called away.
Highlights for me were the truck demo's, having never seen anything like that on the circuit i was sceptical however it turned out to be a real crowd pleaser!!
Sorry for rambling on!
Glad you all had fun, and hopefully it shall be just as good if not better next year!!

Thanks to Stu and everyone involved in making today so much of a blast.
I went to the previous event at Brands and thought that was good, but the VIP facilities were a credit to Snetterton and a privilige to borrow, so today edged it.
Real shame about the cruel timing of the change in weather, the guys must have been gutted.
My guests were suitably impressed, and even made noises about joining up....thanks again.

As everyone else said, what an excellent day. Paying the extra for the hospitality was well worth it, excellent food and it was nice to sit down with friends to natter whilst eating it.
Didn't take as many photos as normal but still managed 17-1800 so hopefully I'll have some good ones to post up soon.
