Apt Dyno day 10th April
Thank you Gary and Danny for your hard erned efforts today!
As previously mentioned i was disappointed with my figure (228.5) But not that upset as it just backed up what id been saying for the last two years in that it seems to massively over fuel when not on full boost and then seems to take a half mile or so with the throttle wide open to clear its throat so to speak! At least with an at best 8-1 fuel ratio i wont have to worry about the normal scooby engine knock! ( i had begun to think my knock gauge had packed up as its been such a long time since i last saw any det!) Still time for a re-map me thinks?:)
It was utterly brilliant to catch up with so many people i swear ive come home with lock jaw?:D There was some proper nice cars on the dyno making some very impressive figures (gits!:D). I have to admitt that i was well chuffed that Rob`s sierra made it over what he had hoped for. Stu on the other hand looked proper gutted from his run! (Dan you are brave mate!) John b`s soarer looked realy good ( I loved those headlights) Lee you are a tart!;) Did Jay run the little twin air? I would have liked to have heard it for myself as ive heard and read that they sound realy good? So many faces and chatter going on i had not realised how much id missed the club meets.
Now roll on thursday and seeing some more bp faces at snetterton ( go on Trev bring the golf-please!)
Again thank you APT for a top day!:cheers2:

Great to catch up with a few people, even though I arrived late. My figures were disapointing and I couldn't quite make the 200bhp mark!!
Main problem is the gearbox is due an overhall/replacement (as it wouldn't stay in gear on the rollers) but that can wait until it stops working. At least the fueling is fine which was my main reason for running.
Roll on thursday

M3 Sales BHP is a load of b*******, to be honest tho who cares the looks make up for it anyway, thanks Gary for taking the time to compare againt other m's you have seen and at least it will stop me wasting money modding it if the gains are so small.
Now in Nimes, how warm is it here??????:coolgleamA:

You weren't the only one disappointed on Sunday Des, there were a few long faces, on the bright side I might be able to get away from you on Thursday in Ole yellow if I can get into the right-hand seatDatsun-Des wrote:Great to catch up with a few people, even though I arrived late.
