Had a great time trying to drift the supra (and 'trying' is definatley the word!)
Good to see how its supposed to be done by everyone else though!
Sorry to those I didn't get chance to say bye to, long drive home and had to head off reasonably early. Should have more chance for a natter on Sunday :thumb:
Fair play the weather was pants, I havent been that wet for quite a while, but the atmosphere of fun and enjoyment was plain to see. I spoke to just about everyone who was doing the drifting and they all agreed it was a brilliant event and well worth the efforts. It didnt matter if you were caning your BM til the tyres fell off or going for a more respectful effort in a Supra - everyone was great. No one hit the fence - although Mark scared the crap out of the poor defenceless little chain link !!! and no one really broke their car - Dan dont count as he's basically a pikey anyways !!!
I am really sorry that I didnt get a chance to do many passenger laps but we felt it was better for people to spend time in their cars doing it rather than watching me being a twit. Hope any pointers I gave out worked, if not then I am sorry.
Thanks so much to the guys with the Mk2 and the Cortina - that things an animal and I loved it cheers !!! and thanks to everyone else for doing well and particaularly thanks to Stuart and Duncan for making a simple idea into a really good night out !!!
J.
I have issues !!! ....I used to be average, now I reminisce !!!
