Because of the rain the Dax stayed at home and the RX8 had an airing.

Good to meet up with lots of people again, all too short a time, as always. Thanks to everyone who entered the autotest and kept us amused. I've never seen or rather heard antilag on an autotest before. Still always a first time.

Immense thanks to Carly :D for giving up her pax seat, earlier in the afternoon to allow me some laps round Snett. with Bealo in his bloody awesome M3 CSL. What a superb piece of machinery now the brakes and suspension have been upgraded. There has to be a dent in the passenger footwell where I was braking while Stu was still accelerating towards the corners. I still don't know how we got round some of them. Maybe it was just the power of prayer :D

Excellent driving with no traction control, and the only driver aid being the kerbing to remind him he really was at the limit as we pi$$ed past Porkers, Ferrari and a very quick Caterfield thingy. :D

A few photos

Got home after the meet and Liz promptly fell asleep, (The 2-11 was obviously too much fun for her) so I went through a few of the photos. Looks like everyone had a lot of fun on the autotest so next time I will have to bring something I can take out. The watersplash made it all the more entertaining.

Got back about an hour ago unloaded the car from the trailer and pushed it up the drive. What an excellant evening and well worth the journey and expence. Can't say I have been to many events that have been run so smoothly and professionally as tonight.

I know that I don't get over to many of these events but I for one would be more than happy to pay a couple of quid more, for the sole purpose of keeping the guys who are running these events, which we all enjoy so much, regulary suppied with drinks and snacks throughout the evening.

Top job gents.....Top job.

Excellent night again, looked like everyone had a great laugh doing the autotest as usual.

Well done to those who organised & ran it for the evening

My photos will be posted up soon but I took quite a few :blush5: so will take a little while to sort through them:willy_nilly:

Thanks for last night guys. I was up on hill watching for ages before I decided 'what the hell!'. I didn't really want to take the M3 because of its very old tired suspension but it didn't have any ill effects in the end. And, the newly installed gearbox (just changed it to manual from an SMG) held up (it's a bit noisy and runs rather hot!)

Forgive my manners!

A big thanks to Harry and Nik for running the autotest, also to Ben and Gareth for running the signing on for the club.

Lovely photo's and the video's should be quite amusing. I was very concious not to swear during my laps with Ben's camera..........let's see how I got on!

A big thank you must go to Nik & Harry for the running and to the usual suspects for getting things sorted.

Carley and i had a good day up Snetterton with Goldtrack and it was topped off with the Bigpower Auto test..

Great to see everyone again. I really enjoy these club events and just wish i could attend more.

I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Tyrells and felt like i was going to burst lol.

Great to chat with Mike over his new project and one i will follow with great interest. Did someone say sprinting?????

Enjoyed giving passenger laps to Gerry and i think he enjoyed them!!! There were some seriously fast cars on track and i enjoyed a few good scraps.

I finally took the traction control off and it defo felt better, giving me good drive out of the corners... Until i pushed a bit too hard and span off lol, no damage done to the car but i felt a bit of a tit....
