That MX5 of yours is a quick little beast!!

Cheers,
Gareth.

Gareth, I was in the white R33 GTR and your car is great and certainly shifts!!
Yes that convoy seemed to appear from no where and was crazy!! :o

Stu, i tried to call you a few times to catch up but i could not get through.

From my point of view i thought the day was very badly organised as got there in the morning to find security guards not knowing where anyone was meant to go and some that did not even speak a word of English!!

Was great to take in some of the Time Attack and EDC but the place was overun by Burbury caps and people saying 'has it got NOZ' to me all day.

Dan, great to catch up with you for the run home mate, i will never get bored of hearing that screamer pipe mate! 8)

Hi Ian,

Thanks mate, it's almost as quick as the ear bashing I got from the misses in the passenger seat :)

Your car certainly stands out and can only imagine the silly questions you got about it.

Not overly impressed with the show, fine if you want a piece of trim from your exhaust or an even bigger subwooooofer, but for any real bits not impressed. The only money I spent was in the market, for some gloves and cleaning rag.

Trying to find out what was going on was also a nightmare, no printed schedule, and the tannoy system had that over excited tw

I can only agree with everything you said mate, we gave up waiting for time attck to come on at one point and got sick of hearing that idiot on the tannoy chatting crap!!

Good day out in the sun but i am feeling the pain of sunburn today!

Dont think i will be going next year to be honest though.

yeh it was a good day but i enjoyed the convoy there and back more than the show and i dont think ill be going again. it got pretty crazy when all those scoobs and evos joined in our group on the way up there.

as for the show itself it was very very badly organised and not really the kind of thing were into but what i managed to see of the TA and drift series was excellent.

managed to put another face to name was nice meeting you sleepy.

Nice meeting you too Mirage :) At least I know I can sort of keep up with you skyline lot...just don't go WOT on me :p

I agree with you there Mirage, the convoy there was better than the show. What time did you and Ian leave? Did you have any trouble on the way back with your car?

ROFL! I forgot about the utter sh*te that the two guys on the Tannoy spouted out! I blocked them out early on.

One funny moment was as the TA was on and the EDC cars were parked up on the track waiting to go out, one of the drivers sat on the wall and a "special security" person asked if he could stand on the public side of the fence...his reply was "I'd like to but my car is parked over there" Suppose that summed up the day really.

There is only so much woofer one can take (used to like ICE but got bored of it after uni)...

Just to rub it in, I don't really suffer from Sunburn :P

That was fun :) Only Bigpower member i saw was Phat Bob, but having only been to one meet and having a terrible memory for faces i probably walked past a lot of you without noticing :D

Dont know what route you lot took, but the A606 - A6006 is a great fun when its empty (slightly less fun when you get stuck behind people). And was deserted when i hit it at about 7. Brilliant drive in.

Spent the day in and around the pits with the SXOC Time Attack club challenge guys, SM managed a 1:23.6 on his final run to take the RWD honours and Yak placed 17th with a 1:25.702 IIRC with just 220bhp he beat a good few cars with seriously more power. Also noticed another big power name fairly high up the order! but my memory has failed me, well done mate.

Didnt see much of the actual show, had a quick wander round while in search of food and it was pretty much as expected...

I got a couple of hundred photos that are uploading as i type

Stuck around till the end and see the final of both the drifting and Ta great to watch. :P

As people have said very poorly organised got waved through and didn't even have any tickets :-D

One thing people do have to remember that it is chav meet that TA and drifting had joined up with :!:
I used to go when it was held up at doncaster race course and it was a very well organised event with a much higher class of cars on show that hadn't ram radded halfords and stuck rippspeed all over there rides

Oh yes suffering form sun burn too 8)
