Forgive me for being thick but what is a 'Mut-11' and what does it do ?

something they plug in to evos i think me abit thick to but it sorts ayc out and other thing i think

i believe it is a mitsubishi only tool to sort out diagnosis on evo's ( 4 onwards i guess? )

i am aware its needed to help "bleed" the AYC fluid properly during changes by opening and closing the valves in the correct sequence.

thats what i picked up from reading up on evo's anyway.

As said the MUTT 2 is a service diagnosis tool.
Checks for your usual fault codes and powers up items like the AYC diff to alow you to sevice and bleed the system.
You can set idle throttle and stuff to i think probialy does loads of things.
Normally your Stealler will charge you to plug in and tell you the codes, APT are doing it as a freebee this saturday :-D

Any other folk fancy poping in on Sat you dont have to be in an Evo be nice to see you

Will he be able to offer the same sort of diagnostic plugs ins to other cars?

sounds good to me i would have come along with camera in toe had i of known about it!

was a great day had car plugged in say no more.
gary and the guys looked arfter us with marks ans spencer bicies :lol:
great facilitys and what a great evo he has think i want one :lol:

Thanks to Gary, Christian & Chris at APT for a great day. Workshop facilities and advice given on the day were excellent, and as for Gary's car....

Also top marks to Liam for leading on us on a great B road (+ rough tracks!) blast on the way there.
