Well what can I say... This has always been a "notch on the (automotive) bedpost" I have dreamt of!! Having come second and third in previous years I was more than happy with our result!!! :-D :-D

I must say a HUGE thanks to Gary for all his time and knowledge that has helped us achieve this. I for one sincerely hope this will really put APT on the map as top class premier UK tuners.

The car is primerily set up for the circuit. (perhaps we should do a drag car Gary!! psl) Its also worth noting that the car essentially drove to the event, did its thing and drove home with no fuss, no breakages, and is ready for a trackday next week  Easy peasy 8)

Well done guys! Brilliant result.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!

There was some serious cars there by the look of it and to come top of the list is a fantastic achievement.

9.06 and over 168mph :o Bloody unreal mate :notworthy:

Tweenie Rob nearly cracked 200mph and 7.5 seconds and Mr Forrest did a 7.12

Sounds like a cracking weekend. Well done to everyone that attended and took part :D
Cheers Stu, it was pulling pretty well, even managed to eat 2 plugs and get stronger after that :P (but with less boost..) I backed off the top speed run as it was detting (due to the above mentionned plug munching) but the speedo was soooo far out it was rediculous, at 168 i was reading nearer 205....the needle had gone past the 6 o clock position :P haha!!

Im just chuffed that:

a) it made it back in one piece without the aid of a flatbed
b) Its still on a stock gearbox
c) It was running tesco 99 fuel only :D
d) it was actually heavier than id hoped.....

oh and the weather sucked of course....:) easy 8 in there...

Very impressive. It will be interesting to see how you guys do today. No pressure
Yes, Gary's car is sickeningly fast!!

I was really pleased with 12th overall for top speed, especially considering the gearing on my car is so short I was hitting the limiter in 5th with quarter of the runway still to go!!

Really struggled with the 30-130 as I needed to change into 5th at 120mph and it would really bog down :( I'll definitely be having another go with revised gearing!! :D
