As to be expected of the BP crew an awesome day with a great turnout. As usual the APT crew shone with a masterclass in mass dyno work. I must say my own thanks to Gary and the team as they squeezed my baby to a great result for me! The first run with the wastegate open was awesome LOL. To those who supplied and paid for the food :thumb: :thumb:
Sight of the day unfortunately had to be the blown headgasket on the most amazing svtV8 Sorry to see it happen but it was screaming on the way to 700 by all accounts so a spectacular car to have there. As said above somewhere it was great to see all the different cars on a level playing feild.
My final note for any that are unsure of dyno graphs is that KrystenCTR brought along a completely standard Civic typeR vtec with a factory listed BHP of 201. And Guess what it made on APT rollers
Just shows how accurate they are i feel.
All in all a great day out for me and i hope all those who attended feel the same
Jay

Hi All,

Unfortunately I had to leave at lunchtime but to echo what has been said, thanks to APT and the BP guys for a great event, it was good to get the little civic on the rollers at last!

Oh, and the food was great too :)

Cheers,
Alex

nice to see more than just evo's like i would usually experience on a rather less well turned out MLR day.

my car performed ok (411 ATW) its always good to see it trying to leap off the rollers and its pretty loud too.
It looked pretty special watching your glowing manifold too 8)

Awesome day - sorry I had to leave early.
he he ... i missed that as i was hiding in a corner... anyone get any pics or vid?

This is my graph from today:

pretty chuffed with that :D

shame I had to back the boost down to 1.7 bar at the top because of injectors running out of duty and the maf voltage being maxed. on a proper ecu, maybe it would have made over 550.
