was a top day we turned the power down a little to get more grip and did not use the nos ,in the first couple of runs the box was playing up again and jumping 3 rd gear but after dinner i wanted to do one more run and was only gonna do the 1/4 but it went so well i kept init and did the mile run resulting in a 200+ run.its hard to explain what it is like at this speed but it must be like re-entry from space as the car felt like it was gonna break up at this speed .i was well chuffed with the result and the car in one piece except fot the indicator and front grill which blew off.
after this run the camera crew there asked if i would do one more run with the onboard cameras in place so they camered up the old gal and put one inside and two on the roof ,i siad to the guy are you sure they will stay on ,and he said they have been on everything from scrapheap challenge to aeroplanes so no prob ,needless to say the realy expensive roof camera f----d off half way down the mile and smashed .
cant say i said so.
mental day shame i could not stay for the presentation ,thanks to phil for stepping up.
more to come from the car watch this space ,thanks for all the comments.
