The lag monster returns.

Post by madenglishman »

Well finally after what seems like forever....(7 weeks :( ) I took my wagon down to pick up my GTR :bandit:

Image

I have been waiting ages for Ron to ring and say it's ready to roll and on Tues came the call. I've had the gtr over a year but these last 2 days has made feel like a kid at xmas waiting to drive it again, and when I unloaded and took it down the road..........It felt BETTER than the day I first picked it up    . The first time I nailed it was such a rush of adrenalin and fear that I had to slow down straight away and compose myself :D I was in such a rush to drive it that I had just got in and driven down the road. While I was sitting there rolling a cig wondering what just happened I checked the settings and it was as ron had left it.....TSC turned off, 8.2k rev limit and 1.5 bar :o :o the full bifta. I turned the TSC on to 'level 7' :D ....dropped the revs to 7.8 and turned the boost to 1.2  Thats much better after driving diesels for 7 weeks.

The good times always outweigh the bad times living with a GTR :thumb:

I heard and saw your car numerous times tonight. Sounds menacing, predatory even. Great to see it back on the road and will be good to see the Skyline smile on Sunday mate 8)

Great news Dan .... I think we get a little complacent with the power and time away in something slower shows us really how savage they are :D
