Recent influx of new members

Post by turbomart »

I don't know how to put this without hurting anyone's feelings but with the recent influx of shall we say less Powerful cars signing up for membership are we getting away from what this club is about, IE " BIGPOWER"

Please tell me to keep quiet if I'm talking out of turn here but maybe there should be a minimum power figure to qualify for membership, say 200 bhp (proven) at the fly? .....this I feel would attract the right sort of members / enthusiasts.

Just my thoughts sorry if it offends

You're spot on. The moderators are sorting this out as we speak and we have absolutely no intentions of softening our stance on having the right cars and the right members. We have looked at minimum BHP and the likes as means of membership qualification and to be honest, its a bit of a can of worms. I'll explain when I see you next. Thanks for your feedback, it's greatly appreciated.

Cheers

kevtengoku, wernickt and Gumbar are banned with immediate effect. This doesn't need to be blown out of proportion. Just think of it as good housekeeping.
Thanks again for your comments. Together we can protect our interests better than we can seperately.

Good on ya Stu, I think you took the right move, though I hope as an advertiser you'll still let me stay with my lowly 100bhp van :P

Promise to get one of those Brabus when funds allow

Here, here

We have all moved to this haven for the same reasons I suspect

I am sure it is hard at times to stick the original "plan" but the club will end up unique and worth the time and effort of those involved in the long run

It's no good having a house full of Alsations and some muppet walks in with a Yorkshire Terrier.........

If you know what I mean!!!!

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.
