Can't keep it quiet any longer

Post by shooter »

As the title says I need to tell someone, although I'm putting this up in the members only area as need to wait for it to be publicaly released.

Anyway here goes... A few weeks ago I was contacted by the UK Distributor of Chemical Guys, American company who manufacture detailing products. The contact was to offer me the 1st ever UK, Chemical Guys Authorised Detailer position :D This contact was totally out of the blue and I knew nothing of it before.

I have at least 50% of their products already as I have found them to be spot on, doing exactly what they are sold as doing, so I had no hesitation is provisionally agreeing to their offer there and then. Since the first contact I have spent many hours on the phone, email and MSN discussing matters, needs and associated issues.

The result being that by the 1st Oct at the latest I will officially become an Authorised Detailer, offering all the services I already do but with full support and backing of a manufacturer and distributor, plus will also be able to offer a discount code so anyone can buy the products at a saving direct from the distributor (or me eventually). I will still be offering the Zymol waxes as this was something I wasn't willing to give away, even though the Chemical Guys waxes are as good as most of the Zymol ones, some will always want a name over value.

Chemical Guys are one of the few manufacturers who actually offer products to look after almost every possible job, but solely aimed at the professional detailer. They are constantly looking at different ways to help the detailer complete their work with the best possible results.

There I've told someone :) this is actually a big honour to me and I think a testament of the work I have done so far, and I'm looking forward to see what the future can bring.

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

Many thanks Guys

Chemical Guys have been in the UK supplying detailing gear for 2 years now and as I said I'm very honoured to be the first :)

And yes Stu, I'll certainly keep everyone updated on developments, until then here's the link to the UK site so you can see what is available, failing that by next weekend I should have just about everything in the van.

http://www.carwashnwax.com/ As a rough guide I'd expet to be able to offer every member 10% off the prices.
