I have spoken to the UK distributor, a very nice chap as it happens who is about to fit one to his mk1 Golf, and he has promised me a review of fitting and performance when he's done it. He has already said that the kit looks to be good quality but he has heard some mixed reviews across the pond, so he's bitten the bullet and will find out first hand in the next few weeks.
The upshot of this is that I have emailed the organisers of two race series to see about compliance with current and planned regs for racing. This is of no consequence to me, but may be useful for residual values and ease of use for different events. Also, Mr Distributor is considering a deal for a group buy. He's only prepared to sell these on if he's 100% as he does not want one product to affect the reputation of a multi-million pound business.
So, legalities and potential deal to be confirmed once the quality and fitting of the kit has been proven.
Thoughts?
I'll leave you with this video. I found it whilst searching for information on line. Berg Cup anyone?
