Definatly quieter! I know this is not the place to say it but, I think that the new site is alot more complex and harder to navigate. Could it be the lack of a home page with latest topics highlighted,(10 newest) that people can view at a quick glance be whats missing?

I miss that as well, was well handy, also, seems even tho I have e-mail notifications switched on, I don't get any mails to say anyone has replied to a topic.

It definately is quieter,
A few of this said this at last weeks meet and even Duncan said it tonight when he was around ours

Dont know if its because of the change of link address as I know this threw me for a few days.

I can only concur, but maybe it's because of other issues like the general lack of cash at the moment, or because it's holiday season. It may be only coincidental.
PS My email notification is nt working either Logan, you're not alone. It must be a real PITA getting everything working.

Lack of email notifications is possibly the reason for the reduced traffic.

New posts can be brought up by clicking on ''new posts' in the top menu bar.

I don't know how much help Stuart's been getting with this changeover but it can't have been easy and still ongoing.

I'm not having a dig at anyone but there is always resistance to change in anything that's become warm, cosey and familiar. It's rather ironic that afaik the upgrade was because the old system couldn't handle the traffic and now the new system isn't getting the traffic. Maybe the easy answer would have been to make the old site paying members only? :)

Oh yes mate, I wasn't having a go, as I spoke with Stu at Hethel and he said it was sucking his will to live.

The home page is defo missed tho, as said above, its like a nice welcome page that says what the club is all about etc.

worry ye not, it will fill out again :) - the main issue is active users, dependant on time of year etc - whether we've had an event ... of 1000+ users we never have more than 150 actually active ... it will come back ..

cheers for being here though chaps - i'm quite pissed now though, so group hug :)
