The time has come

Post by pablo »

Well, after 3 years of highs and lows it's time to move on. We made the decision several months ago that this would be our last year with the car as too many parts were starting to fail and she was starting to show signs of wear and damage from all the abuse.

We spent months discussing what we were going to and looking at all the options with me spending hours on the internet researching and drawing up plans and options. The decision made we started buying bits including an engine which as we speak is wrapped up and sitting in my shed;)

All those plans have now gone out the window and we are taking a path that some will be surprised at and may even say that we are selling our soles to the devil. When I pointed this out to Alan his reply was "I'd rather be the devils right hand man than in his way!"

At the moment I am keeping things close to my chest but both me and Alan are so excited about this that I just had to say something:willy_nilly:

Well done guys! It's a bit of a relief to hear really. There's only so many walls you can bang your head against before some sense gets knocked in.

Can't wait to hear what the new beastie will be.

Why not run a competition on it, or a book :)

No.

As you said Gerry there's only so much you can take before sense prevails. It's been a good schooling though and after 3 years of learning to walk we are more than ready to run:reddevil:

Francis, I have had 2 jap cars in my time both mitsibushis one was the Lancer 2000 Turbo:drool5: Awesome car loved both of them to bits but No not going jap:p

Rob we are here to stay but the difference between normal track days / show track days and Time Attack is huge so we had to make a decision on where we wanted to play.

I have a pretty good idea about the route you're taking (The devil comment gave it away) and I happen to think you'll never look back. In terms of what sand pit you play in, it's all about fun and doing what makes you tick. From a fun factor point of view your new 'option' should change things massively I would have thought.

Does this mean you're 'out' of Snetterton? I was really looking forwards to seeing you there.......
