Hi Guys, yep as you read i twatted the car today right into one of those bastard 5 inch kerbs :x coming out of my house and it was pissing down, went not even 200 meters around the bend and the rear end just lost it and threw me over to there otherside and mounted the pavement.
So of course im now having major problems;
A. the car feels very very light up the front end, more than usual.
B. now and again the car violently pulls to either left or right
C. over bumps there are really loud banging noises
i've had the wheel off and had a good look around and pulling bits and bobs but everything seems okay :? i would take this to the garage asap but i have literally no money at all

is there anything you guys could suggest for me to check again?
cheers.

front or rear? Dont know MR2s that well, but it could be any of a number of arms/droplinks/ball joints thats buckled/broken.

Doh yeah sorry it was the front.
Right just had the lot off again, had a poke around and put everthing back together and had a drive, the irrattic pulling has gone completely.
the bangs i was getting are the new arbs twatting againt the floor pans, so i'll have to go even slower over the bumps.
and dad was reading up on the whiteline website and they say that for a rwd car the rear anti rollbar needs to be backed off because of traction issues being set on stiff rear so i'll have to back that off.
and as for the front end still being light, well it's either something still under there or im just being very over cautious :oops:

It does sound like you might be over sensitive now! Just remember that most reputable garages offer free tracking checks! If they find that the tracking is a mile out- (obviously better to have a four wheel alignement check!) you could always book it in after pay day? 8)

Yeah i reckon i'm just being a tart now, taking corners at 20mph on the way home :oops: still doing the track night though, loads of run offs
That's true, i didnt think about that - i'll have a look around tomorrow at who does them, cheers Russ :thumb:
