that sucks, i hope you get it sorted, its a shame it has had to go this far

Name and Shame should not have come to this but he has had every chance to clear the situation.
Andy do the decent thing and send the payment.

Don't take this the wrong way but i feel there are better ways to get your money and by now i would have gone down the small claims court route. I personally don't think this is the place to be airing your linen and it comes across as being a bit unprofessional.

I appreciate where you are coming from as i have been in this same situation a while back as i run a business. However, I wouldn't have wasted time writing about this on public forums when you could have gone legal instead and probably be on your way to getting your money back by now. I find the threat of legal action usually stirs people into action.

As much as i feel for you and the fact you have trusted someone to do the right thing there is a time and a place for this, but i don't think this is it.

I am sure the guys at APT will do that Francis but Andy Cat has effectively shit on his own door step.

Would you prefer they stayed schtum, Andy sold a load of bits on here and then people got knocked? What would you think if APT popped up afterwards and said 'oh yeah, we got knocked 3 months ago too but we didn't think it was fair to make it public' ??

I suppose the thing I hoped for is that by posting on here, is that word got back to Andy and he did the right thing and paid. I have several other methods in my mind for recovery of the money, but chose this one as the next. If he was to mail me his card details to settle this bill, I would have this thread deleted immediately and say no more about it.......

I,m pretty sure that there is no case to answer legally. Its is not a case of someone not paying for an item or service, they have been undercharged which is a mistake by the vendor. I do agree that Andy-cat should have done the right thing and settled and that after every other channel was pursued to obtain the money, he should be named and shamed. After all it is a shameful thing which he has done.

I'm not trying to put a downer on what APT have written, but it wouldn't be something i would do.

I have no issues with naming and shaming, and if it does some good more power to their elbow. I genuinely feel for them having been seriously shit on clearly from a great height and i've been there myself on a couple of occasions.

You're absolutely correct that this being a community they shouldn't stay schtum and we should all know if there are some bad apples amongst us, but after all they have written, all the time that has gone by writing similar stuff on other forums and chasing this idiot around surely one of the first things you would do once those alarm bells started ringing is go legal on this blokes arse after completely taking advantage of your good nature and making it quite clear he has no intention of paying.

I sincerely hope they get their money back and due justice is done. Andy_Cat should be barred from BigPower!!
