locating my old car

has anybody got any idea's on how to go about finding who now own's my old car, i sold it in 1987 i think,

i've checked the dvla records and it is sorned at the moment , hopefully that means it is in a private collection

in a heated garage :wink:

just interested to see what sort of state it is in now and see if it's for sale :wink:

what was the car ?
dont know how you would go about finding the owner (legaly)
Small one's are more juicy

You could try the rac website - do you have the vin number - as the q plate could have been removed by now ...

The rac site says that plate represents an escort with a 2.9 in it ?

Q plates cant be removed.

yep thats correct it had the v6 fitted and was professionally converted to rear wheel drive , which at the time

was absolutly brilliant , people just thought it was an xr3i with a body kit until it lit the rear wheels up and they

where franticly trying to find more gears to keep up , it's getting me all sentimental now :cry:

A blast from the past, when did you get rid of that. I have had 3 Rs Turbo's now, infact we got one in part exchange about 4 years ago, I was considering keeping it until I drove it. God they were loose, drove bloody awefull :-D Still a cracking mobeeeeeel!
