No pick up or view doesn't sound right to me. If anything, get it delivered before partingt with the cash, no deposit. I can come of with some test equipment whilst he is there if you like Brian?

Scam - they've discussed it on GTR ..
Plus - get a 32 - not one of those lardy 33's

Also - this is bull
The front diff is noisy and needs replacing. It still drives but I have temporarily pulled the fuse for the 4WD so it drives quietly.
You can't disable the 4WD on a 33 ... only the 32.

Possible SCAM "'1996 Nissan Skyline R33 GTR V-Spec 680 BHP' at PistonHeads.com"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The advert has now been pulled it seems, but this concerns a rather cheap looking JUN tuned white GTR.
The contact details were all false, however I made contact with the "owner"
Arron Echols....
email correspondance
"Hi Alex,
I am going trough a divorce, and I had to move .....So all that I want to do now is sell the car at this price, because I need allot of money fast.
The title is clean and you will have absolutely no problems!
The motor have been made by a friend of mine ho own a Tuning Base and i am not part of GTROC.
Since the build ...~1000 seriously!!!
Yes I have all the receipts!
Please email asap and let me know what to do next.
Thanks allot!"
second email
"Please send me the info (name address)that I need to register you with worldpay.
They will contact you , and they will tell you everithing else that you need to know about this transaction.
If I will not recieve the info from you, then i will assume that you are no longer interested in my car, and I will find another buyer.
Thanks allot, I am expecting for your email with the requested info, and I hope that you are not just wasting my time.
Kind regards!"
The reason I am posting (and have checked with a mod)is that "if" this is a scam it is sad to know that gullable young people may get conned by this sort of thing.
If I find the advert again I will post it.
I hope the seller is in fact genuine but the facts seem to point to otherwise.

Well spotted that man  I was trying to work out why that caused me to feel uneasy can't be done on a 33 as Ben says :notworthy:

Bryan sign upto GTR.co.uk and have a look there.
Also have a look at the auction sites - Rick (ex drag and drift) is on the forum - he may be able to source you a nice machine.

Looks of adverts like this on Pistonheads etc, if the car seems to cheap, then usually its a scam, no phone number usually gives it away as well.
