Oh dear :(

Had an incident last Sunday in the GTT. No major speed involved, about 50mph. Hit the bank, car dug in and rolled on its roof

Blimey :o

I take it you got out ok, if so you were really lucky with the amount the roof has intruded into the cabin.

What's the plans for it now? Get the engine/brakes/susp off and fit them to a new shell or are you going to start a new project?

No injuries, only a cut hand when I climbed out through the window. Should be buying the wreck back for the parts at least. I have been looking at another GT-T, or even a nice GT and stick my engine in it :)

Very sorry to see this Matt but as the others have said, you were very fortunate to walk away from this, the car looks fooked!

Can you salvage much from this?

All that at 50mph? That's really quite frightening.

Glad you're OK,

Looking at the way the car has crumpled as has been said it looks like you were going faster than 50mph. Blimey!! Still...you got out in one piece and that's all that matters, you can get another car anytime you like but you can't get another you.

Better luck with the next project. :thumb:

It was surprising, I was one of the first on the scene after the police and if it was any faster he would be no more :( I had trouble keeing my own car on the road with Racelogic :o

The distance travelled when the car was on its roof was very short so there was no speed involved, certainly not excessive :)
