porsche cayman s

Post by Tk »

well usual boring day at work, when a work mates friend came to visit the site we were at and she bought her porsche cayman s along with her, had a little look around it and thought well it looks nice,
anyway basically she threw the keys to my mate and said take it for a run, like an excited teenager he grabbed the keys and was in the drivers seat before i had time to blink , after a little while he came back and jumped out with a big smile , then i was asked if i would like to take it for a thrash , well silly question really
hopped in put it in drive and away i went, well it seamed ok , then i popped it in the tiptronic mode ,, aaaahhhh much better, comes alive when the revs get up a bit ,
i know its not a 911 and some say poor mans porsche , but i really liked it, obviously i did not push it to hard around the corners but it felt really planted
stats are 3.4 ltr boxer engine 0-62 in 5.4 and a top speed of 171mph

having never driven a porsche before it turned out to be not a bad day

I saw one at Snetterton and it sounded fantastic. I think it had a different exhaust on.

It didn't seem that fast but the sound was one of the best i've heard for a long time.
