Help please with the pc
Hi i need to take some pics (prob about 300) from one pc and put them on to this pc or some thing which i can down load on to when i want to? the pc is running windows 95 i've tryed a ZIP drive, FLASH drive but still no go, if any one can do it for me or tell me how to do it any help pleaseeeeeeee :? :? :? :?

You can either upload them to somewhere like photobucket.com and then they will be hosted online for you to retrieve from anywhere you like or you can save them onto a CD and then load them onto another PC like that.

Does your new PC have the capability of connecting to an IDE type drive - whenever I've needed to do this sort of thing I always found it easiest just to plug the old drive into the new PC and extract what I needed that way.
Alternatley as Stu said burn it to CD or if you have a network card in both PCs connect a crossover cable and transfer files that way.

There's nothing that shouts "Poor Workmanship" more than wrinkles in the Gaffer tape.....
As Mark says - this is how I have done it in the past.
Most of the newer PC's have extra hard disk drives - you should be able to remove the hard disk from the old pc and put it in the new one. There may be little switches on it to run as a slave.
Then it will be there on your new pc as the F drive or something :thumb:
