*If* I let Lindsey drive my car I would probably do the same! I got worried (rightly) the first time she put her foot down in it and promptly let out a little giggle.

I only reset the boost gauge to check whether she is using it properly - as it happens I tell her off if she doesnt hit at least 1.3 bar of boost

Clive Atthowe did the same with the ECUTEK thing when he took it into somewhere for some warranty work.. Was surprised as one of the things recorded was top speed!! Made for an interesting chat when he approached the service manager appaerently.

Worth bearing in mind if its ever in a garage!

I got a call once from one of the guys who worked at Nemesis when I had the Bomber.......

Him - "Feck me you're in a bit of a hurry arent ya ???"
Me - "What are you talking about ??"
Him - "You just came flying past me, and Im doing 120mph"
Me - "Im in the van, working in London, what are you talking about ???"
Him - "Well the Bomber just went past me like I was parked, and I was doing 120mph checking boost in a car in higher gears !!!!"
Me - "Are you sure ??"
Him - "Yep, your plate is distinctive enough even at that speed, and besides the big Nemesis stickers and flames out the exhaust confirm it !!"
Me - "Ahhhhhhh.............I know what it is.............Karen must be on her way up to see her mum, she's got a day off today !!!"
Him - at this point sounding totally gobsmacked - "You what ??"
Me - "Its Karen driving, no one else would drive that car at those speeds other than me, even if they just nicked it !!!!"
Him - "You gotta be kidding, you let her drive it ??? And you dont mind THATS HOW she drives it ???"
Me - "Nah, she's a good girl !!!"

A few minutes later - I'd given her around 15 minutes to get to where she was going I phoned Karen and asked her if she was having fun......

Me - "Enjoying yourself babe ??"
Her - "Yep, Im just going to see mum"
Me - "Running a bit late are you ??"
Her - "No, why ??"
Me - "Just been told you're trying to get the world to spin the wrong way in the Bomber !!!!"
Her - "Noooooooooo <giggle> I was just having a quick zoom"
Me - "Which gear were you in ??"
Her - "Eeerrrrmmmmm, 2nd and 3rd I think "
Me - "Im thinking more like 4th and 5th babe !!"
Her - "I dont think so !!"
Me - "I do, you just went passed XXX like he was parked, and he was doing 120mph"
Her - "Ohhh"
Her - "I think I might have been doing 170mph at one point !!!!"
Me - "No worries, just keep an eye out for Plod !!!"
Her - "Okey dokey............."

Sounds good to me, Jo wants to start using the twin turbo Supra, logging the car stats sounds like a good idea to me... she has a heavier right foot than I do!
