Referrals~ please read

Hi Guys

Just thought I should mention something. I hope that people enjoy the site and based on that you may feel inclined to recommend people that you know. All I would ask before you recommend anyone to use the site or sign up as a member is this~

Do they meet the requirements of the forum/site/club?

We're all here to enjoy our cars in the same way and I think we're all agreed that the things that make BigPower what it is, is the balance between talking and doing, banter and factual discussion. It is this balance that I'm very protective of.
I am not making this point because of a specific person joining up or a particular thing happening, I am making this point because everybody on here should either already be or have a specific intention of;
- doing trackdays
- The Nurburgring
- drifting
- quarter mile
- rallying

This forum celebrates the action rather than the talking. If the person you are about to recommend does none of the above or you don't genuinely think they will, don't recommend them. It will save us all a good deal of embarassment. Thanks all :thumb:

Well put Stuart, I have restrained from publicising this site in the worng place for this exact reason.

This is a great site, with great folk, lets not have it spoiled

I referred someone on Monday, they have done a couple of track days in the past but also want to do more as and when funds allow.

I must admit their car would be fun watching it going round the track (a 6.3lt Can-Am Ultima) and yes you'll see more of it from me in a couple of weeks
