Well as it's part of the hard core rally car look, I say go for it
Do you know what top speed they are safe to have open though?

You need to be brave to fit that - get it wrong ... ooh wouldn't want to think about that.

They dont advise over 80km but ive seen these open to over 80mph.. its all bracketed underneath so cant go anywhere.
Just gets harder to shut the faster you go ha ha
To be honest the wind created at anything over 80mph would be rediculous anyway.. so it would be shut then.
Its just the roof cutting thing... I know to most people im billy big boll*x ..
Nows where we find out

I used to fit glass pop up sunroofs years ago and the first one I did, I was pooping my pants
I knew of one mechanic that cut a sunroof hole from the outside and managed to cut straight throught the sunvisors too
Not trying to put you off or anything...........

Go for it Frayz :thumb:
The worst that could happen is that you end up with the UK's first convertible Impreza

That S202 looked superb by the way. If you are brave/made enough to do it, get someone to take a photo of your face when you bust through the paintwork.

You will be fine, just measure, measure and measure again. Cover the roof area in masking tape, to avoid making the paintwork and check thoroughly under the roof skin for any interior light wires, roof strengthning bars etc. We never took the headlining down, just had a good feel first

They work very well mate, it is an actual genuine subaru part so the fit and finish is perfect. I will be telling my insurance company regardless.
Comes as standard on Spec C and type RA models, inc S202, S203, S204 etc
