Car Dilemna
Wouldn't be without my detalarm. It's there to detect a bad batch of fuel and maybe a patch in the map that's too close to the edge (maybe in different weather conditions to when it was mapped). Tis easy to miss, though, if you're concentrating on an overtake or on the track. After filling up with fuel I usually take a specific look under full-bore acceleration, to make sure it's lighting up just the one green.
Did Paul tell you the story on those Logan? They have been coming in since Otcober I believeblacky wrote: Spoken to Paul at Zen with reagrds to baflled sumps, he has some Prodrivce spec ones coming in.

I say get the engine apart and see what happened before making any rash diagnoses or plans for car changes etc. That is an awesome car and has taken a long time to get where you want it. An evo or whatever else will just be starting you back at the beginning of the path of learning what needs doing to get it working how you want it to.
Yup, Paul said he has been waiting a long time for them but they should be in within teh next week or so.
Yeh, engine will be fixed whatever Duncan, and not cheaply as spec is aleady a veery good short block so it will stay that way.
I am going to try out a couple of other cars tho just to take stock, rather than blindly chucking more cash at mine, at the moment i am unsure if Subarus are the way forward.....I feel let down :!:

When I started sprinting (cough) years ago, there used to be all manner of ex formula cars, McLarens, Brabham, etc. To see a F3000 McLaren going round Silverstone in the peeing rain was awesome. Wonder where they are these days?
Anyway, you need a National A licence to enter a single seater.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!

I havent read all the thread,
But I'd try to dedicate the car to racing if you really want to do it properly. That way when its broke its not such a big deal. Personally I am always an Evo fan rather than Scoob, even though my heart is in rallying and Scoobies where the thing tugging my heartstrings with Mr McRae at the wheel.
I think a well sorted 5RS with 450bhp would be quite something if peddled correctly.
Just my 2p though,
J.

one of these could tempt me away seems a bit cheap to me but looks nice but would be starting from scratch to get it how you wanted it
