Did that 4.0 V6 project sierra ever get completed, it was mentioned and discussed at length on the old Sierra owners club site? A turbo'd one of those would be bloody rapid.....

Thats the spec yes, but someone on FSOC mentioned trying it, maybe Genghis just finished it first.
I suppose it's a load of work for not much more power though, thanks for the link, I do miss the old Sierra!

Just need to clear some space in the shed for when we strip herbie as there is still a spare engine for herbie, 2 spare gearboxes and a 2.9 24v cosworth engine, which was going to be the new engine.

Pete, Stu's father in law has a bob conversion Sierra, if memory serves Gary did it. From the little I know he seems well pleased with. Should be two cracking cars then!

Now's your big chance. Get a car to fit the kit. It'll save an awful lot of work :D

When I got the text message from Bart earlier, I had to read it twice. I saw the comment about the Escort Cosworth kit and though "Eh??" :)

One of the things that I love about having you guys on the forum is your sense of fun and endless ability to keep solving problems with means other than a blank cheque.

I have no doubt you'll not only pull this off but also to have a bloody good time doing it. I could learn a lot from you two in that respect :)

there is alot of work that needs to go into the kit and i didnt really tape it on correctly as pablo wanted some pics of it on.

im looking at a time scale of about 2months to have the basic kit on the car. as this kit is for a escort there are a couple of places that the kit needs a extension or two and cut. the biggest test is to cut the rear arch where the door is to get a perfect line.

as with previous projects i have been lucky with what i have done but this is taking it to a much higher level and a vast challange.

if i get chance next weekend i shell line the body kit as it should be and ill show were the most work is going to be required.
