I wanted to put it on the open forum to try to get an idea of what dates and what routes etc would be best for everyone and then after i have an idea of what preferences everyone would like i can then put it in the calender.

I see now just what hard work it is trying to sort things out on here and i take my hat off to the moderators and events guys.

Dunc in now way is this meant to be any kind of a dig mate but three posts after a back to thread thing was put up i could see it going off track again without me getting anywhere nearer to getting anything organised.

Not to worry and i hope i have not pissed anyone off.

This kind of thing may be best left to the guys that know how to organise things better!

Thanks.

No problem Ian.

At the moment this just stands as a "who fancies a drive sometime" type thread.

Propose a single date and a list will happen of those that can make it :D

Who arranges the route will really depend on where it starts from. If it is around this area then I would be happy to arrange a route but my guess it will be more Norwich way and therefore out of the realms of my knowledge.

Why cant you organise it?

Thanks mate.

OK i will come up with a route and finish location etc.

As for dates how does Sunday the 13th May sound to everyone?
This is weather dependent obviously.

I was thinking if we start in the Snetterton area this is fairly central for everyone isnt it?

ian, can i suggest you take a friend and a map for a drive round norfolk/suffolk?

this might give you a good idea for a route ( including V-Power garages ) ;)

i know some good open roads from norwich to fakenham then onto sheringham.

sheringham to hunstanton is excellent but can get busy so driving with gusto can be heavily tamed.

hunstanton to newmarket ( via kings lynn ) is good too?

i found some nice enough roads in a car around the diss/beccles ( or is it bungay? ) way a while back?

personally i would head towards lincoln ( onto skegness for the day? ) lots of proper twisties round there!!

may i suggest the end of the month for a venue date too?

most people will have some money too.

just trying to help mate ;)
