Glad to hear your ok rob lucky escape

Talking of near death experiences this is what happened to my van and my very lucky driver.

As he was passing through some road works lights where a company where changing telegraph poles.

They cut through the supporting cables but didnt check the condition of the pole in the ground which was rotten so it headed for the road.

Landing on my van, the thing was the car behind was a convertable so lucky.

Thanks Mike (and everyone else for their kind sentiments)
That van looks nasty, bet the driver needed a change of skiddies after that.

Wow Rob that's pretty dangerous mate. Good to hear that you're alright.

And Mike, never realised telegraph poles were that substaintial! Pretty hefty impact.

If you need something shooting, or a payload to low earth orbit. Just ask.

Bloody hell, that was close Rob. glad to hear your ok.

I agree with you when you say plan an escape route etc.

Thats one good thing about working offshore you constantly get safety shoved down your neck and it pays off. I always finding myself thinking about what could happen and what would i do in that event etc.

Must be the time of the year cause Carley and me were passengers in a head on collision last time home in the snow....

Where's there a blame..................

@ Stu, Blimey hope you were both ok, I did nt know about that. I've been lucky in the inclement weather so far.
Not so sure I'll go down the claim route, how much would I get for 2nd hand pants?
