I think the White ones look cool, as you said a bit OTT for on the road but what the hell. Not my cup of tea though as i am a confirmed Black wheel lover. I've got a spare set of WRX wheels that need a refurb and then painting Obsidian Black!!
Still...i've got as much taste in style as a wet paper bag....i drive a bugeye sportwagon so what do i know

Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

Wheels will be with me this week shod with some quite frankly horrible road tyres (RE040).
These tyres will be swapped off and go onto my crap gold wheels and be run/destroyed in the winter and saved for drift nights to totally do them in.
The white wheels are going to have some 'Summer' tyres for use on Ring Trips - just cant decide at the moment between:
Michelin Pilot Cup Sports
Dunlop DZ02G (hard compound)
Bridgestone RE070 (known entity but slightly less extreme than the others)
What do you guys think on the tyres?

I think the RE070 Bridgestones were first introduced on the 2006 STi, and were made specially for the STi. I hear they are pretty good summer tyres, and are suppose to be pretty awesome in the wet but not much good when it's very cold as they need a bit of warming up. Next best thing to a road legal track tyre.
For a track day though, even the ring, i think it's got to be the Toyo R888's. they will get you there, do the ring in super sticky style and get you back in one piece. I hear they are also pretty good in the wet when warmed up properly. Camskill are doing them for
