What is it with the main bearings spinning on the RB's!?
What causes this?

Mark i feel gutted for you, i have been where you are (all be it with smaller problems) and i know how you can just get to a stage where you feel like giving up.

Keep going mate and when you get the top awards at some of the shows you will know it has all been worth while. :)

motor out all shells and mains gone ,looks like an oil problem maybe to thick oil and too close tollerance .crank i think is dead also scoured . debating to go 2.8 or steel standard or just rebuild again as stock crank ,any comments welcome at this point as the problem looks like oil starvation. any one else seen this before ,cant find any problems with block or oil pump .
thanks max1

Dont want to get out of my depth here but i have heard of some of the big power cars fitting an oil restrictor to the oil lines to the head so they dont stave the bottom end of oil?
