You'll need the BP account name too.

Wherever possible, I use on-line banking as it's a pain to get to a bank. There's only a small box for a reference so probably not enough characters for full name and event. Can the events be given a brief code e.g. BP1;BP2;etc?

On-line banking doesn't issue receipts How about a print out of the payment page?
