Selling a car to Sweden

Post by blacky »

Alright chaps

Anyone done this before? Slighty worried about the scenario as there has been a lot of scams about. But if I am correct quite a few GTR's and Evo's get sold over there as they can't get these cars easily.

I suppose as long as the bloke seems genuine and he pays cash to me straight into my bank it should be okay yes??

Anything I need to do for de-registering it or is that the buyers issue?

Gulp, fully in a dilema now - should I sell it :? :? I know its sad but was thinking about it in bed last night........

Which car? :D Looks like a decision has bee made?

Is he coming to collect or do you need to arrange shipping?

If he's coming with pound notes and the bank accepts them, then as Lee says.

If, on the other hand, he was from Nigeria ............ :o

Gerry, think you know which car. The Evo isn't quite as special as the Impreza

Just a hard decision from all the time effort and cash spent on it. I think its a good idea to sell then look at some pics etc and then don't know anymore...arrgghhh

Yup, the only way I would do it is pound notes straight into the bank.

To be honest either way would surprise me :?

They're both very nice cars. Glad it wasn't my decision :)

Wish it wasn't my decision really. If I hadn't bought the Evo then i would just be getting on with fixing the Impreza.

My head says sell the Impreza I think due to the offer on the table, but then on the flip side I kinda want to make it work again and win in it..... :?

I think you'd stand a better chance of winning in the Evo. But a win in the Scooby will be more satisfying. IMO

i wouldnt let him pay it straight into your bank account i always think that sounds dodgy to me, wait for the readies to land in you hand then hand over the keys.
