There have been some great ideas and discussions from this thread. I think that Dunk and I need to have a sit down (metaphorically) and work out if and how we should implement any changes and get back to the forum.

I do entirely 'get' the idea behind both Fils and Marks comments and I'm sure you will all be happy with the results.

No rule changes and no lowering of standards guys, of that you can be assured.

I'd agree with that.

On badges, lets keep them track related is my opinion. For sure, lots of us run our cars on the road too - I'm probably not alone in that my track car is my only car (but I do have bikes and other hobbies taking up money and time too!). I'm sure lots of us enjoy 'making good progress' on a b-road when the conditions are right and it's not going to upset others. But to really exercise that car and your own skills you've got to be on the track, imo, be it race, sprint, drag or trackday. So lets keep the emphasis of BP on the track.

My 2p.

As a scoob owner, the comparison of 22b and scoobynet springs to mind. I know where I'd rather be!

Agree wholeheartedly with George, and with Stuart/Duncan's question on the application form - having a strong interest is the important bit. I reckon most of us would do more track-orientated stuff than we currently do, at whatever level, if we had more money and time!
