Ford Fair

Post by pablo »

As Alan came in at the end of his first session he was stopped by two gentlemen. As i ran down from the seated area to see what was wrong I was surprised to find out that they were from Fast ford Magazine and wanted to do a mini feature on the car. They said that they had seen our car at several events.

How was the event Paul? My brother rang me to tell me he was on his way down there, I would have loved to have attended but there we are.

The Sierra looks much better with the headlights covered up, did you notice any differences with the inlet to the induction kit?

Stu, report and pictures are up in event pics.

With reference to the air inlet it is hard to say what benefit we got from as we are running a new turbo and the car needs setting up to the get the best out of it.
The purpose of the intake was 2 fold, besides providing cooler air to the intake we hoped to improve air flow through the engine bay and thus reduce under bonnet temperatures.
The temperatures didn't rise much more that when we were at the ring inspite of the different conditions.
