Big Power Garage Visibility

Post by TonyB »

Hi Guys,

I have just had a thought. I have been busy filling in all the details I can think of, for my car in the garage - Cracking feature btw - but I then had a thought/concern on the Visibility of the information. When I was on 'Probation' I think I could see the garage ? Although it was interesting to me at the time, being an honest guy here for the right reasons, I do not want anyone registering (un-vetted) and seeing all this goody information (I have held a couple of things back infact ;-) )

Can this be made available to Members only, or an option on creation of groups that can see your car?

I get a bit paranoid from time-to-time, that will be my northern background

I thought it was locked to none-registered users? Will check with Dunk and make sure that it is.

Good point Tony.

Only registered users can view the information and all users are prevetted before their accounts are opened by Stu, myself or both of us.

I hope that explains it - I have similar concerns but waanted it to be available for non-members to see what they were missing :)

Dunk
I have changed the settings on the garage until me and you can have a chat. Prevention being better than the cure and all that.

Cheers Guys,

If open to registered users, assuming this is lower vetting level than full members (not knowing addresses and the like) then I would remove a lot of info. No hassle for me, but it would be nice for you guys to see what I am up to :)

Please let me know if Registered users can see it, and I can then remove/edit as I feel needed.

Many thanks,

oh, just as an idea for you to consider. Maybe registered users can see the basic car information. And only full members can see mods, dyno/drag, money spent ect.

Tony - btw, have you checked the bigpower shop for harnesses plus as a member you get 10% discount straight off.

They can also get hold of racing seats if you want. We can chat about it during the week.

I have locked the garage at the moment so that its members only, for viewing and uploading.
