Do you Skype?

Post by Ben »

Have any of you got Skype installed - basically a internet phone. amazing quality and free to use!!. It also has a conference facility. So all you need is a PC in a room and other can join your conversation.

Only played with it once, via Inmarsat and some other Broadband via Satellite, given the latency it performed quite well, there were even 'fixes' to priorotise the Skype 'packets'.

I'lll have to download it and try it on wires, bet it's quite good, I guess if you use an IPV6 enabled network it would be even better? Any geeks available to answer this?

Interested of Yarmouth

With MSN, two mobiles, shop phone and the mrs, the last thing I need is another form of communication :)
I sell the stuff (skype) and the customers all seem very happy.
