Anybody used these discs brakes. I'm considering the grooved ones for my EVO but they don't come cheap!

Bazzer - been considering them myself. I know that NikWilson has been using them (see my Brake Skimming thread) and rates them highly.
Alyn from ASP Trading (stockcar on here) supplies these so may be up for either a group buy or a member discount for you/us

Hi Bazzer,
Yes, I would recomend the DBA 5000, very well made and a good lifeline. Its an ideal upgrade and suitable for both fast road and track. Another alternative that you may consider is the AP strap drive kit, similar money and also very good product, I would say a best seller in the friction department

Hope this helps
If you have an questions or queries at all, please feel free to give me a call.

Both myself and Dan Booker run/ran DBA's on our Datsuns. They proved a very cost effective way of upgrading the brakes without mucking about with wheel swaps too.
I know there are a few of our suppliers that have great deals on DBA's. If you were a member Bazzer, they'd be even cheaper

Thanks for the replies gents. I've found a few web sites over in the states that sell them much cheaper than here in the UK but I haven't as yet included shipping or the possibility of getting stung for import tax.
Regards the membership, that will be coming

I think you would be crazy to try and import something like brakes, the prices of shipping would be horrendous.
Phone a few of our traders and see how you get on. When I replace my front discs, I'll be looking at DBA again........a nice set of 5000's will go on there just nice
