Ask Ben (murano3),

He has a mate called Chris, my memory is like a sieve and I cant for the life of me remember what his place is called.

He has done a few members cars and they are all happy.

Send him a pm.

LOL.. cheers Duncan :o

Asking who's best is a very open statement.

I know who Ben will recommend and for the life of me I can't remember their name (i know exactly where they are though), but I've also seen their work and its very good, so when Ben posts their name thats who I'd give a vote for.

Another painter I know and would recommend is Keith Bale of Bale Engineering on the airport Ind Est. He has done several show winning paint jobs on cars and bikes, also had several mag features showing motors he's done. He's not cheap by a long way and also last time I spoke to him he was booking weeks/months ahead for custom paintwork.

There are also a few I would not recommend, however I won't post their names out of politeness.

Ok,

Chris Howlett of H-Tech Styling. Chris has a unit off Vulcan road and is a pure perfectionist.

I have had a car done there, so has Alexb, Evo and Slaphead have had bits done there so you could ask them for feedback.

If you call Chris tell him you got the details from Ben at Bigpower.

Fulford Motorsport

or

Bibby Bodystyling.

Im sure Matt can show photographs of thier work - but basically they have produced a large percentage of the "best" painted cars in the UK scene over the last few years (Carl Bibby used to work at Fulfords and then another place in the past !!) Cars include....

Glens Gold Supra
All the Carisma cars
The "Glitterball" saxo
EA Games demo cars - subaru and skyline
Dragon RX7 (the purple original one!!)
My driftcar - in matt finish no less !!! lol

tons of others

I'll second that - if you are going to the next Snetterton meet you should be able to admire some of his handy work 8) - I'd personally give him 10/10 for the job he did on mine - especially as it was a difficult one to get right - he managed it :D

Just my 10p th worth

I do hope you mean managed??
All good recommendations. I tell you who not to use, Breckland Bodytech. That is, unless you want your car looking like that Polo Harlequin from a few years back.
